Barker and Gevedon Photos
Hi folks! Gary Barker has donated a large number of photos for the PICTURES PAGE. You'll find Gevedon, Barker, Lemaster, Linkous, McGuire, and other family photos. Please be sure to thank him.
Sharon Cox has been hard at work putting up lists of alphabetized marriage records. Her newest submission for "N-O" marriages is at http://www.rootsweb.com/~kymorgan/marriagealpha.html THANK YOU Sharon! Sharon has sent me up to "R" and I'll be uploading the rest this week.
Please join me in thanking Roger Gross for updating the Spaws Creek Cemetery and the Oliver Haney Cemetery. Roger also transcribed the Henry Cemetery for the website. You can view these cemeteries at http://www.rootsweb.com/~kymorgan/mdcem.htm
Please join me in thanking W G Nickell and Mike Acree for their picture contributions. You can view the links to the Old Blaze store photo and the Ada Byrd Fannin family photo at

Diana Trimble Crace found a cemetery book at the Morgan County Public Library that was falling apart. It appears the book was a group effort by residents who documented various cemeteries in the county. Diana retyped the book for the library and also sent me the files so that I could post the cemeteries online. The book is not copyrighted and after trying to track down the compilers, with little luck, I've decided to post the listings. After putting a few of these up, I'm really impressed with all the hard work Diana put into retyping this book. Please join me in thanking her for the wonderful new information we have available to us!
has new links set up so that visitors and view and post obituaries. Welma Adkins, Diana Crace and Connie Spurlock have posted more than two hundred at the Morgan County Genealogy Yahoo Groups Site. The Licking Valley Courier, West Liberty, Kentucky, graciously gave permission to post all obits from its pages.
Hi folks. I believe this will be an easier way to post updates for the KY GenWeb pages for Morgan County. This page is interactive. If you would like to post comments about the updates, you are welcome do so. Browse around. Its a fun new way to interact with other Morgan County researchers.
